Our salon features a unique style of service where each appoinment begins with a consultation to create and foster individual beauty of the client. Individuals are then treated to world-class service including haircuts, color, chemical & conditioning treatments, hair extensions and more according to personal needs.

Meet Eva...
a third generation hairdresser from Oviedo, Spain. She grew up watching her mother, aunt, and grandmother transform clients with new hairstyles, realizing that she had the same passion for beauty. Eva moved to London at the age of 18 to train with Vidal Sassoon, and after mastering her skills for several years Eva returned to Spain and took over the family business.
With ambitions running beyond the salon, Eva joined the Sebastian technical support team, where she was introduced to the fast-paced world of film, editorial, commercials, and fashion shows. At the invitation of Sebastian in 1997, Eva moved to Los Angeles.
Evas next step was to work as an artistic stylist on the creative team for hair at Fred Segal, where she was able to cater to salon clients as well as continue to work on editorial shoots, commercials and films with models and celebrities. Here Eva cultivated her passion and talent for hairdressing, setting trends for celebrity clients like Penelope Cruz, Stacey Dash, Marley Shelton, Paulina Rubio, and Madonna.
The natural next step was for Eva to capitalize on her favorable reputation and open a namesake salon. Eva created a true Spanish-style salon in Los Angeles in November 2003.
Today, Eva serves as the inspiration and creative director of Salon Duarte, the jewel-box-like spot in L.A.s Hollywood Hills. Evas vision of stylish ease and individuality draws a wide clientèle. Her expertise, cutting edge fashion sense, and desire to cultivate comfortable and inviting spaces make the Salon Duarte experience exceptional and unique.

To ensure consistent service quality and technical skill, every staff member must complete our salon training. Our technicians works at three levels based on their accomplishments in the salon training program. No matter the longevity in ones career, we require all staff to go through this training process.
Meet Erica Lee...
brings over 7 years of experience to Duarte. An east coast native of Virgina Beach, she has been an integrial part of our team for over two years. Erica specializes in working with curly & wavy hair. Her concept and vision is centered around "healthy hair."
